Then again, some people concluded that the HDL cholesterol level rises not because they eat soy, but because they stopped eating meat altogether. Either way, soy is good for you.
- Red wine: I might trigger some people out there, but believe me when I say that a drink in moderation will make you healthier when it comes to HDL cholesterol. Moderation means two glasses for men and one glasses for women. This rule applies to those who drink only, so if you have not drink alcoholic beverages yet, then do not.
